About the Project: Turkish cuisine has hosted many cultures from past to present. Migrant communities have had an impact on the creation of Turkish cuisine. Turkish cuisine has had a rich menu. Thanks to that, it has gained the title of the world's third largest cuisine. With the concept of “Life comes from BOSPHORUS” present in Turkish cuisine, we wanted to reflect internal spatial lines.

The education process in Design department is divided in two main sections: Visual Communication Design and Industrial Design which are extended on many additional subjects.

The Faculty of Interior Design and Design offers daytime Master's Degree studies (10 semesters), artistic studies for a Bachelor's Degree (6 semesters) and for a Master's Degree (5 semesters) and is organized as a night school. The studies have a facultative character. Students can change studios during the course of studies, thus constructing their own education path. Part of the students go on international scholarship in the framework of programs of exchange between art academies of over the world. The number of possible work placements in continually rising.

Academy of Fine Arts In Poznan in 2010 changed its rank and status, receiving the name: University of Arts in Poznan / UAP. Exhibition at arena DESIGN'2011 includes works made by students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design and Faculty of Graphic, in the following disciplines: design, furniture, architecture, bionics, clothing design and graphic design-typography. These projects are innovative solutions and ideas, resulting from extensive and creative research, comprehensive, based on vast extensive use of UAP intellectual experience of active designer-educators. A wide spectrum of artistic-design attitudes allows us to show both, extreme visionary ideas, and projects-prototypes, ready for implementation into production. The 10 PE-P exhibition shows such objects, as a result of cooperation with companies: Noti, Profap, Marmorin, Ridex and Paged. During arena DESIGN'2011 there will also be a exhibition trailer: X-SPACE + human earth. In three parts of the city containers will be set up , inside which you can see inside at them the essence of our exposure to the MTP - a good, fresh and inspiring design of young designers studying at the University of the Arts in Poznan.

Gliwice School of Entrepreneurship
Gliwicka Wyższa Szkoła Przedsiębiorczości (Gliwice School of Entrepreneurship) is the first non-public college in the Silesian region to offer a diploma in design. GWSP was established by the local authorities of the City of Gliwice and is headquartered in regenerated post-industrial facilities which were formerly part of a coal mine and now serve as modern college buildings. The design studies are offered by the Chair of Design Arts. This unique B.A. programme combines theory and practical experience gained in the world of business. The study programme meets the expectations of Silesian youths and also answers the needs of the local labour market and regional economy.

The exhibition of projects of furniture and furniture accessories created by students of Faculty of Wood Technology presents the antropotechnic aspect of furniture design. The prepared projects are based on guidelines concerning ergonomics, strength requirements and safety of furniture use. The tools for virtual prototyping of construction, technology and strength of designed objects were used. Additional advantage is the possibility of construction parametrization, which allows for dimensions change without the necessity of working on a preparation of a new project documentation.

Both full-time and part-time students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses can choose one of two specialisations in interior or exhibition design. Due to the programme that follows market needs, experienced tutors and well equipped studios and workshops our students and alumni are succesfull interior architects as well as graphic, furniture and product designers.

Design Institute of Koszalin University of Technology presents in arena DESIGN 2011 the portfolio of the semestral works and diploma presentations and models from the faculty of Design Studios of professor Tomasz Matuszewski and professor Jacek Ojrzanowski. The main attention should be payed to two awarded designs: contest ZOOM - ZOOM Mazda Design - "Coleopter"- work created by Maciej Meroniuk who won Second Prize under the direction of professor Tomasz Matuszewski and "Finger Tool" awarded patent on Invention Exhibition in Geneva in category Best Young Inventor under direction of Professor Jacek Ojrzanowski. Published and implemented patterns and designs and those made during our latest workshops accompanied by technologists and bussinessman cooperating with Design Institute within European Union Programms. We propose new way of fashion design in Costume Studio of Professor Zygmunt Laskowski and PhD Alina Adamczak.

Faculty of Architecture in Poznań University of Architecture is a scientific & educational unit that trains students in architecture and urban planning. Interdisciplinary, two-stage study program combines together the technical, artistic and design education. Design challenge undertaken by students during education process includes architecture and urban planning in the wide range of subjects and scales (from small architecture objects to complexed urban projects). The study program is filled up with complementary design courses. Design is a significant element of education process in Faculty of Architecture, Poznań University of Technology. Particular pressure is put down on innovative approach to solve design problems as well as matters related to employed technologies. Students can choose from the wide range of subjects implemented during two-semester course. Both interesting and stimulating students’ crativity in architectural explorations is Bionics. The subject of this course is precissely related to problems of detail’s technology in architecture and urban planning. Studying the similarities in nature enable students to find the brand new solutions and implement them into their projects. The exhibition presented on arenaDesign 2011 shows the wide spectrum of design problems undertaken by students of Faculty of Architecture, Poznań University of Technology.
