City lives for design

During arena DESIGN the whole city of Poznań lives for design.
Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie initiated a programme of exhibitions and workshops held outside the fair grounds, encouraging Poznań-based companies, colleges, universities and regional authorities to join in.

The project has become a part of the promotion strategy of Poznań and the Wielkopolska Region as a place supporting innovation and design, aiming to foster design development and strengthen the image of Poznań as the European capital for design.

An important element of the "arena DESIGN 2009" programme was a series of city-wide events organised between 3 and 6 June 2009 by partners of the "city lives for design" campaign:
